Four resorts remain open through April 19 -- Alta, Brighton, Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR) and Snowbird. And several will remain open longer.

Alta, Brighton and PCMR are scheduled to close on the 19th. But Alta will reopen for the weekend of April 25 and 26 at reduced rates. And Snowbird expects to remain open through mid May. It all depends on what Mother Nature does.

As the season winds down, the spirit reves up. Crazy costumes appear on the slopes. Today there was a skiing penguin, a banana, a bikini-clad skier and several Hawaiian outfits. It's the mountain version of ComicCon. These three ladies in long robes were having fun and they sang on top of the mountain.

The recent mid week storm put down so much snow that it's been groomed into a cushy layer. The resorts have good skiing. Get up there and enjoy it before it becomes a memory.
