Corner Canyon High drill team fifth best in state

Corner Canyon High's drill team placed fifth as a team at the 5A state championships Feb. 3 at UVU. Charelles Team President Lexi Kilgore and Drill Mistress Gracie Snow were named to the All-State team.

Chargers are state's best - and now nation's best - in cheer

Since Corner Canyon High School opened in 2013, head cheerleading coach Whitney Lunt has quickly established the program as a premier program in Utah. This year, the varsity and junior varsity cheerleading teams won the state title at Salt Lake Community College and followed that up with a national championship at the National High School Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Florida Feb. 11.
