Storytime Station. All aboard for fun! Free tickets available 15 minutes before starting times. Arrive early—the “Storytime Station Express” departs on time. No late arrivals.
Wednesdays, 10:15 a.m. Ages 2 ½ and under with an adult
Cuddle Time. Join us for songs, nursery rhymes and fun times in a storytime made especially for babies up to 2½ years with an adult. Learn about ways to help your child be ready to read when the time comes. Storytime lasts 15 minutes, followed by a 15-minute playtime.

Name That Candy Bar Contest. Celebrate Chocolate Lovers Month! Try to guess which candy bars are pictured and get a piece of chocolate when you turn in your completed form. Get all the answers right and you will be entered into a drawing for a chocolately prize. There will be a teen and an adult prize winner.
Feb. 9, 2:30 p.m. Ages 11 to 18
Friendship Bracelet Craft. Teens, come and make a friendship bracelet to give to someone special
Feb. 11, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Families
Year of the Snake. The 2013 Lunar New Year is called the "Year of the Snake." Celebrate with a super snake make-and-take craft. Visit the Children’s Area anytime between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. to craft your snake. Gung Hay Fat Choy!
Feb. 11, 7 p.m. Families
Family Game Night. Join us for game night at the library. There will be a wide variety of games for you to play with your family. Come by and have some fun! All ages are welcome.
Feb. 14, 3 p.m. Elementary ages
Sweet Make & Take. Come by anytime between 3 and 5 p.m. to make a special something for YOUR valentine. In the Children's Area.
Feb. 15, 4 p.m. Boys ages 7 to 11
No Girls Allowed. Snakes, snails and underwear tales. Worms, squirms and other fun stuff just for boys! A new activity each month. Pick up the schedule at the library. Free tickets available 15 minutes before the program begins. Please note age requirement. No younger siblings.
Feb. 16, 11 a.m. Adults
Get Organized: The Clear and Simple Way. Have you tried to get organized time and again, only to give up and tell yourself it just can't be done? Learn a new system that works for any organizing project and any personality. No children please.

The Princess and the Frog Puppet Show. In this charming Brothers Grimm tale, the spoiled princess drops her golden ball into the well, then makes certain promises to the frog who retrieves it for her. Will she keep her promises? Will she kiss the frog?
Feb. 19, 7 p.m. Families
The Science of Seuss. Join us for some Seuss-ical science adventures. What is oobleck from “Bartholomew and the Oobleck?” Like “Horton Hears a Who,” watch and listen to how sound effects are made. See things change colors right before your eyes like in “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.” And finish up with cool science from “Oh! The Places You'll Go!”
Feb. 20, 7 p.m. Girls ages 8 to 12 and an adult
Great Reads for Girls: A Mother/Daughter Book Club. Join us for lively discussions, activities, friendship and fun! This month’s book is "Wonderstruck" by Brian Selznick. Pick up a Great Reads schedule and the book at Draper Library. No younger siblings.
Feb. 21, 4:15 p.m. Ages 6 to 10
Terrific Thursday: Angry Birds. You may not know this, but Thursdays are terrific! Angry Birds and green pigs have invaded the library. Now is the time to throw away your phones and play a real-life version of Angry Birds at your library. Games, crafts and FUN!
Feb. 23, 10:30 a.m. to noon Families
Read to the Dogs. Read to a gentle and well-trained Intermountain Therapy Animals R.E.A.D. dog. These dogs love to hear you read to them! Fun for families with kids of all ages. Drop in anytime during the scheduled time. Please check in at the children’s desk first.
Feb. 25, 7 p.m. Families
Fun Flicks. A fun movie for the whole family. This month's movie is “Frankenweenie” (Rated PG). Bring a pillow and a blanket.
