The summer tasting menu provides diners with a four-course meal with three appetizer choices, three salad choices, their pick of four entrees and the Dessert Trio, a "tasting" of the restaurant's favorite desserts.

Carvers is locally owned and recently underwent a charming renovation, both inside and out. The three fireplaces, dark mahogany woods, comfortable seating and dim lighting set a warm and inviting tone for the restaurant's guests.

Carvers has a complete wine and specialty drink list so diners can sip some wine or relax with their favorite cocktail while enjoying the rich atmosphere and tantalizing food Carvers is known for. The restaurant is celebrated for its high quality steaks, seafood and prime rib but also offers delicious pasta and vegetarian selections.

One of the things that make this steakhouse so unique is its ability to offer a fine dining experience without the high price tag.

"The value we give for the quality experience really sets us apart," Sue says. "We have a niche here because we are not a chain restaurant."

From the servers to the chef, the entire Carvers team focuses on customer satisfaction. They offer exemplary customer service and truly understand the tastes of the community they serve.

"A large part of our success is exceeding our customers' expectations," Sue says. "We listen to our customers and change our menu regularly to give them what they want."

Entrees are made from the freshest of ingredients and the highest grade of meats. Whenever possible, the restaurant buys locally to support the local economy. These quality ingredients are then transformed by the chef to create the restaurant's rich sauces, dressings and desserts.

Unlike most other upscale steakhouses, Carvers includes salad, bread, and a vegetable or potato at no additional charge. Diners will not walk away hungry but they will miss out if they forget to leave room for one of the restaurant's mouth watering desserts. One of the most popular desserts is the crème brulee. The chef uses a top secret recipe which many diners say makes this decadent dish second to none.

For other special events, the restaurant has four cozy private dining rooms to accommodate corporate parties, wedding dinners and luncheons. A minimum occupancy is required and affordable banquet menus are available.
