497 days ago394 views

Back by popular demand! The Midvale Arts Council will present "The Walker Brothers" (Verdon Jr., Wade and Kevin) for two nights only, Friday, Jan. 21 and Monday, Jan. 24, at 7:30 pm. They will perform at the Midvale Performing Arts Center, 695 West Center Street (7720 South). Admission is free.

Join us as they take you on a musical stroll down memory lane with such classics as "Hey Good Lookin'," "Let Me Call You Sweetheart," "Sh-Boom," "The Great Pretender," "Teddy Bear," "Can't Help Falling in Love," "Sherry," "Cry," "Sweet Violets" and many more.

The Walker Brothers are Midvale natives and are always a crowd favorite. Verdon currently lives in Pleasant Grove with his wife Julia and works as a software programmer for Imagine Learning. They have six children. Kevin currently lives in South Jordan with his wife Arica and three daughters. Kevin just finished his residency at the University of Utah in Neurology and is now specializing in Sleep Medicine (he often uses the Walker Brothers music to help put people to sleep). Wade currently lives in Midvale with his wife Suzanne and four children. He is bank examiner for the FDIC and serves as chairman of the Midvale Arts Council.
