Auditions planned for Broadway revue

The Draper Arts Council will be holding auditions for its annual “Broadway Family Favorites” musical revue. This year’s show will be presented at Juan Diego Catholic High School in Draper, and will include numbers from “West Side Story,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Guys and Dolls,” “The Music Man,” “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” “Newsies,” and many more. Tricia Swanson will provide music direction for the show and choreography will be by Gina Troop.

Auditions will be at Juan Diego, 300 East 11800 South, on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 7, 9 a.m.-noon. Callbacks will be Monday, Jan. 9, 6:30 p.m. Auditioners should be prepared to sing 32 bars from a Broadway show and to learn a short dance routine. An accompanist will be provided (no minus tracks please).
