JDCHS charity run

Juan Diego Catholic High School junior Riley Rose recently organized a Distance for Destiny race to benefit a Nicaraguan orphanage. More than 150 runners braved snowy conditions to participate in the 5K race and one mile kids run. Lizzy Caldwell, Chris Williamson, Caitlin Darby, Casey Rose, Julia Colosimo, Andrew Katsohirakis and Meagan Kelliher, among others, were also instrumental in carrying out the event, which raised more than $4,200 for the Children of Destiny Orphanage in Los Cedros, Nicaragua.
