Carpool with 3 or more people in the car or else ride the UTA ski bus and you'll enjoy the benefits. Earn a few rewards on your R.I.D.E. ticket and turn it in for a beverage. Or fill up your ticket and get a 1/2 price lift ticket.

The goal is to educate skiers and riders on what they can do to reduce CO2 emissions and give them an incentive.

R.I.D.E. is an acronym for Reducing Individual Driving for the Environment.

Resorts in Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon are partnering with Protect Our Winters (POW), Breathe Utah, the National Ski Area Association Climate Challenge (NSAA), the Utah Transit Athority and Canyon Transportation

Each resort has its own spin on R.I.D.E. This program is new, so realize there could be some adjustments as the program rolls along.

Arrive with 3 or more people in the car or take the UTA ski bus.

Alta has had an employee ride share program for many years with different schedules to accommodate different work schedules. Alta expanded its employee program 's employee program in 2013-2104 and went from an average of 1,000 rides to over 5,00 rides.

At this time, Alta is supporting and publicizing the program and is taking time to evaluate other options to support the program.
