The Juan Diego Catholic High School boys basketball program will host its annual basketball camp June 10 through 12 from 9 a.m. to noon each day for players entering the fourth through ninth grades.

“This is a terrific camp where kids can truly learn, develop their skills and play the great game of basketball,” said head coach Drew Trost. “The campers receive top-notch instruction from me, my assistant coaches and our varsity players. It’s especially fun to see them bond with our varsity players.”

The skills camp emphasizes fundamentals that will help young players improve. The coaches use drills, competitive games and contests to bring a balance of skill-building and enjoyment to the camp, which will be held in the school’s main gym.

The cost is $60, which includes a camp T-shirt. Registrations are being taken at the high school’s main office, online at https://form.jotform.com/jdchs/basketballcamp and will also be accepted through the first day of the camp.

“We typically have around 80 campers that are broken up by age and skill level,” Trost said. “I am confident this will be a great success once again.”

The JDCHS girls basketball camp is scheduled for July 9–11 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The camp will be run by the girls basketball coaches and players. The cost is $60, which includes a camp T-shirt.

Registrations can be handled online at www.jotform.com/jdchs/GirlsBBallCamp2019 or by emailing Coach Ashlee McKray at [email protected]
